Reign Redmond, a sophomore at Carson High, won the girls 100-meter dash in 11.93 into a headwind, in addition to prevailing in the 200 meters in 25.01, along with anchoring the victorious 4x100-meter relay in 46.86 at the CIF L.A. City Section Final at Scott King Track at Birmingham High's Rick Prizant Stadium. It was a season-best performance in the 4x100 for the Colts, who elevated to No. 3 in the state this year.
