Lucas Schriver, a senior at Palisades High, won the boys 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the CIF L.A. City Section Championships at Scott King Track at Birmingham High's Rick Prizant Stadium. Schriver, who finished 16th in the 3,200 as a freshman in 2018 and sixth as a sophomore, won the title in 9:51.42. He also relied on a late surge to prevail in the 1,600 in 4:26.29.
