Carson senior Jonon Young won the girls long jump with a leap of 18-11.25 and the triple jump with a mark of 39-2.25 at the L.A. City Section finals at El Camino College in Torrance. Young helped Carson sweep the top four spots in both jumps, contributing 56 points to the Colts' 177-35 victory over Granada Hills.
